What is the minimum number required for custom t-shirts or sweatshirts?
One. There are no minimum order requirements. We believe purchasing custom apparel should be an affordable and easy process for anyone.
What are the setup fees for custom apparel?
None - There are no set up fees charged for custom orders.
Do I pay extra for color designs?
No. Due to the nature of DTF, there is no difference in price between a one color vs full color design. That's what makes it so affordable and versatile.
What is the standard turn-around time (TAT)?
Custom orders generally require 7-10 business days from the time of payment to fufill. If your order is time sensitive, we recommend starting the process 3 weeks prior to the date required.
Can you reproduce photos on apparel?
Yes! One of the benefits of DTF technology is it's excellent ability to reproduce fine details and colors. Please read our Artwork Requirements below for further information on how to best utilize photos in your custom designs.
Can you make a custom NFL themed t-shirt for me?
No. We will not create or copy designs that we believe are protected intellectual property. Found Things holds no licensing agreements and therefore unable to reproduce designs and elements that fall under US Copyright Law. Examples include elements, characters, logos and artwork linked to Walt Disney, the NFL or the US Military.
Will you print on apparel I provide?
We do not print on untested, outside apparel. However, you may purchase custom transfers from us you can apply using a commercial heat press. DTF Transfer orders are limited to print-ready, customer supplied designs. Cost of design services is not included in the purchase price and will be subject to a seperate flat-rate charge.
Will you save my custom design on file?
Found Things will retain a custom design on file for 6 months upon the client's request. If no reprints are ordered after 6 months, Found Things retains the right to permanently archive the designs.
Will my custom design be used for anyone else?
No. Custom designs are unique to the individuals and businesses that commission them. We will not reprint those exact designs for anyone without permission from the original client.
May I have a digital copy of my custom design for my own use?
No contractual agreement exists or is implied between Found Things and our clients regarding custom designwork. Therefore, digital files are available by purchase only.
What is the difference between a print-ready and custom design?
A print-ready design is one provided by the client that requires no editing, touch ups or resizing prior to being sent to print. With a custom design, our team works with you to create, from scratch, a finished product that captures your initial idea.

When providing artwork, elements, logos or photographs for custom designs, please follow these guidelines for the best possible results.
Accepted File Formats
For isolated images with a transparent background - PNG, PDF or SVG
For compressed digital images - JPEG
Print-Ready Requirements
To be considered Print-Ready, images files must be in PNG, PDF or SVG format. PNG files must be a mimimum DPI of 300. Print-ready files should require no editing, touch ups or resizing prior to moving into prodctuion.
Resolution & Quality
For the best print quality possible, provided artwork, logos or photographs must be high quality and capable of being enlarged without pixelation.
PNG files must be 300 DPI or greater with clean, non-blurry edges.
Copyrights
Make sure you are submitting artwork that is your own or that you have the rights or licenses to use it. We will not print artwork that we believe to be protected by copyright.
